A few of the committee considerations prompting the move:

• A large arena with up to 800 stalls all attached in one large heated building.

• Lincoln is within 100 miles of being an equal distance between the East and West coast.
• The Lancaster Event Center is a new state of the art facility that opened in 2001.
• The stalls are new 10 x 10 horse stalls with canvas on the bottom 3 feet and bars on top.
• All the meetings can be held at the Event Center meeting rooms.
• There are heated wash bays with hot water.
• There is a Vendor area large enough to put all the vendors in one area.
• A new concreted campground.
